William Hill slashes odds on England securing Six Nations success

At the end of the second weekend of Six Nations rugby, England are the out-and-out favourites to win the 2016 tournament.

According to William Hill, the success of Eddie Jones’s side in Rome (with Jonathan Joseph, pictured, scoring a hat-trick), together with Ireland’s defeat in Paris and Wales’ triumph over Scotland means that England are 11/10 to secure their first championship since 2011.

As the bookmaker’s spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke explained, “Not much is separating the teams so far in the Six Nations, but the betting suggests that England are the most likely tournament winners.”

With Wales (2/1) the nearest rivals to Dylan Hartley’s young team, we should have a better idea of who’ll come out on top when the tournament resumes on 28th February.
